This mixture of ginger, fennel, star-anise, gentian, coriander and clove has a deliciously spicy flavour. This is a liquor that our grandparents would have appreciated too. It is perfect for the wintertime and the refinement of hot drinks.

Instructions
Put the herbal base into a big glass container and add two litres of alcohol (corn schnapps or vodka). Close the container tightly and put it in a warm place so that the mixture infuses. Stir up the mixture once or twice a week. After about five weeks the alcohol will have completely absorbed all the flavours of the herbal base. Then you can strain the mixture and fill it into decorative bottles.
